Until this afternoon, I still hadn't made it to the new IKEA in Brooklyn. The coolest part about this IKEA (aside from the fact that it made chic, Swedish home-goods available to car-less New Yorkers) is that you can take a Water Taxi from lower Manhattan to get there.
So my mom and I decided to bundle up, walk to South Street Seaport, and hop a Water Taxi to IKEA for some shopping and, of course, Swedish meatballs (the IKEA café's signature menu item).
