Back in NYC...with way too many photos

So as you can tell, my grand plan to write about my Sicilian travels while in Sicily kind of failed. We did have internet after we left Palermo, but we had to pay for it so it was limited, and I was so worn out after each day that writing a recap on my iPod just seemed like way too much effort. But we got home late last night, and as soon as I work up the strength to go through my pictures (I don't know the exact numbers yet, but I'm estimating I took around 800...) I'm going to write short posts about each place. We saw so much and there's so much to say but I'll try to be concise! Until more details (which will come whenever I download those hundreds of photos), suffice it to say I had a great time. I ate lots of delicious pasta and cannoli, climbed a crater on Mount Etna, swam in the Mediterranean, toured some vineyards, saw a Greek play in a theater built in the 5th century BC, and waved to mainland Sicily from the town of Messina.

More details and pictures coming soon - stay tuned!
